my current creative process is again with things I have found while working as a labourer/as an artist I collect these often in the large pockets of my building shorts and bring them to the studio where I explore them poetically free from practicality

I am drawn to things which have been handled and have had a life and lived as practical things they may have been discarded or have been broken so I am freeing them from the working life

my work rambles through using
the language of objects
the colour of things

my creative practice is centred in physicality and physical presence

my own body forms a principle device within this way of working

photography lets light play around the outside of things as well as drawing the separate together
