many voices
a thing reacts when placed close to another 

attraction
repulsion
effect
different in company than alone 
they speak 

I look
I feel

I use a varying vernacular to
communicate with and through each material
a scalpel
a hacksaw blade
a wood lathe
my hands

the workshop 
is a collaboration 
a jam session
between 
me
materials 
and instrumentation
